The picture that you clicked to get here was my first digital music player. It was just a portable hard drive, but it had a huge (at the time) capacity to hold 100 hours of music, and it had a headphonen jack. After a decade of portable CD players that skipped and scratche and took up so much space in your backpack, I felt very excited and high tech to have this. It cost me all my emergency savings, $250 at the time, but I was very happy with it.

I will be listing some of my favorite albums here. I don't often listen to random playlists or stations, I'm an album girl. I will add some particular songs if they warrent it. I'll list a few in no particular order for each genre that seems relevant. It is going to be a very US/UK centered list, unfortunately, but expanding my musical knowledge is a resolution for me. Enjoy!
